The Masakali is a fully articulated, handcrafted fabric doll constructed by women artisans using reclaimed, handloom, and natural fibre textiles. This manual assembly process ensures every unit possesses unique variations in its fabric patterns and hand-stitched detailing.
Birthmarks: Consequently, each doll features distinct "birthmarks," characterized by visible hand-closed stitches and natural textile variations.
Hand-Styled Crown: Features hair crafted from soft cotton yarn, individually hand-styled into neat buns or playful tresses to give every character a distinct personality.
Articulated Movement: Crafted with stitched flex-joints for lifelike, graceful sitting, and traditional button-pivot joints that offer full rotation for expressive storytelling and play.
