Because our items are meticulously handcrafted, you will naturally find slight variations in color, texture, and stitching. We consider these beautiful "birthmarks" rather than flaws. Our Stance on Conscious Consumerism
We deeply value the time, effort, and artisanal skill poured into every KathaDoi piece. To honor this slow, intentional craft process, we promote conscious consumerism. We urge you to carefully review all product descriptions, dimensions, and details before making your purchase decision.
We do not encourage casual returns, refunds, or exchanges. Returns are only accepted under the following specific circumstances:

You received a faulty or defective product with manufacturing damage.

You received a product that is entirely different from what you ordered.
At KathaDoi, quality service is our priority, and we do not foresee such occurrences. However, should either of these situations arise, rest assured we will do everything within our power to make it right for you.
Conditions For Returning Products
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following criteria must be met:

The products must be returned in the exact original condition they were received in.

Products must be entirely unsoiled, unused, and unaltered.

All original brand packaging, tags, labels, and bills must be completely intact.

Replacement of a specific doll or craft item will always be subject to the availability of that product or its materials on the website at that time.
Return Shipping Fees:
If a return is initiated due to a manufacturing defect or an incorrect item sent by KathaDoi, we will bear the cost of return shipping. In all other instances where a return is exceptionally permitted, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges. There are no restocking fees for any returned items.
Return, Exchange & Refund Guidelines
Initiating a Request

If your goods are delivered in a damaged condition or you received the wrong item, please email us at care.kathadoi@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving the product.

Disputes registered after 3 days of delivery will be entertained solely at the discretion of KathaDoi.

After a dispute is registered and approved we will Initiate return and schedule a pickup from delivery address or reimburse the shipping cost incase customer books the return.

Your email must contain the Order ID, the name of the product, a detailed description of the concern, a photograph of the invoice, the barcode on the package, and clear pictures/videos highlighting the defect or damage.
Exclusions

We cannot facilitate returns, refunds, or exchanges for products made to custom requirements.

We cannot facilitate returns, refunds, or exchanges for products purchased on discount/sale or when promotional discount codes are applied to the order.
Shipping & Processing

If KathaDoi approves a refund or exchange, you must ship the product back to us within 7 days of our confirmation.

Please ship your return order strictly to the shipping address communicated to you via our support email.

We can only process refunds or exchanges once the physical product has reached our workspace and passed a quality check.

Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 days from the date we receive the returned goods.

For approved returns of defective or incorrect items, KathaDoi will reimburse return shipping costs. For any other returns, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

Returned goods that are damaged, soiled, or missing their original tags will fail our returns standards and will be sent back to you. In such cases, the return shipping costs will have to be borne by the customer.
